CNC Router Operator
This position entails efficiently and safely operating a CNC router in production, as well as post processing of parts and equipment maintenance. Production requires attention to detail to ensure that product quality meets standards.
Additional duties may also include packaging, material handling, receiving, shipping, equipment maintenance, cleaning and organization, and inventory management.
Quality and efficiency are extremely important to Quark Enterprises, and as such, team members are expected to find ways to improve efficiency of operations.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate CNC router
Set up and calibrate tools
Quality check of finished parts
Perform some post processing and cleaning of finished parts
Perform periodic maintenance on machine
Understand and update documented processes
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, improve quality, increase output, reduce scrap, and reduce downtime/changeover time, and reduce program run time
Manage bits and sharpening of bits
Material handling and forklift operation

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 18 years of age
Skills & Experience
Experience with woodworking or metalworking equipment
Experience with CNC operation is preferred
Experience with making things
Ability to understand and follow written documentation
Understanding of Measurements and Measuring Equipment
Able to lift 80 lbs overhead repeatedly
Experience with G Code is preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Hours & Compensation:
Full time Shift (40 hrs/week).
Day: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Morning: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm
Evening: 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Graveyard: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am
Saturdays possible after training
Part time Shift (20-25 hrs/week)
Morning: 5:00 am - 10:00 am
Evening:
Mon-Fri 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Mon/Wed/Fri 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Tues/Thurs/Sat 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Compensation is based on productivity of production team. Day Shift Compensation is typically between $13-17/hr, with $13 guaranteed. Even higher pay is possible dependent on team productivity & employee contribution. Evening/Morning/Saturday shifts are paid an additional $1/hour, with Graveyard paid an additional $2 per hour. Additional details of compensation structure are available upon request or at time of interview.
