Montessori Consultant

Sprout is looking for a Montessori educator to join our team! This position will require you to work with a cross-functional team that caters to educational spaces, focusing on Montessori schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Montessori, experience in writing, and work well with others. In this role, you will be a sort of consultant for Sprout to guide our team with Montessori principles, as well as serve as the communicator for our audience of educators. 

The hours of this position have some flexibility, with a minimum of 20 hours a week, up to full-time. Part of the hours must be done in person at our Provo workshop. This is a position you can grow into! Training is offered with compensation increasing as you learn more skills and take on more responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Write content that addresses the needs of parents (and inspires!) for all things Montessori

• Connect with schools and educators to best understand their needs

• Seek out and actively grow our educational audience 

• Teach Sprout about Montessori principles and educator rhythms

• Be responsible for the marketing and launches of all products meant for schools and educational spaces

Qualifications

• Trained in a Montessori teacher program with experience in a Montessori classroom. Need to have a deep understanding of the Montessori philosophy and principles, as well as familiarity with other parenting and education frameworks (RIE, Reggio-Emilia, Forest Schools, Waldorf, etc.)

• Familiarity with child development principles

• Ability to write succinctly, persuasively, and centered on our mission: to help parents and educators create spaces that foster independence, creativity, and resilience in children.

• A desire to learn and try new things. We need someone who is self-led and self-motivated.
